Claus Flensborg (born October 2, 1976 in Randers ) is a former Danish handball player who was mostly used on the right back area.

The 1.94 m tall left-hander began his career at Randers HK . From there he moved to the Swiss National League A in Zurich. Bjerringbro-Silkeborg signed him in the spring of 1997 . After two seasons he joined KIF Kolding , with whom he was Danish champion in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005 and cup winners in 2002 and 2005. Internationally, he reached the semi-finals in the European Cup Winners' Cup 1999/2000 and in the EHF Champions League 2001/02, the quarterfinals in the Champions League 2002/03 and the second round in the premier class in the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons. In 2005 he moved to GOG Svendborg TGI , with whom he won the trophy in 2006 and the championship in 2007. With GOG he reached the quarter-finals in the 2005/06 EHF Cup and the second round of the 2006/07 EHF Champions League .

With the Danish national team Flensborg won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 2002 . He played 81 international matches in which he scored 122 goals.

Claus Flensborg has been working as Administrative Director at the Business Kolding Institute since 2010.
