Clemens Eich
Clemens Eich (born May 22, 1954 in Rosenheim , † February 22, 1998 in Vienna ) was a German and Austrian actor and writer .
Life
Clemens Eich was the son of the writer couple Ilse Aichinger and Günter Eich . He grew up in Großgmain near Salzburg . From 1971 to 1974 he attended an acting school in Zurich . From 1974 to 1979 he worked as an actor in Landshut , at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, in Hamburg and at the Schauspielhaus in Frankfurt am Main . Then lived as a freelance writer in Hamburg and Vienna.
Clemens Eich received the promotional award of the city of Mannheim in 1980 and the Mara Cassens award in 1996 .
He died at the age of 43 as a result of falling down stairs in Vienna.
