Cleonir Paulo Dalbosco

Cleonir Paulo Dalbosco OFMCap (born September 25, 1970 in Barros Cassal , Rio Grande do Sul ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Bagé .

Life

Cleonir Paulo Dalbosco joined the religious order of the Capuchin in and put on 25 January 1994, the profession from. On February 20, 1999, he received the sacrament of ordination .

In addition to his theological and philosophical studies, Cleonir Paulo Dalbosco completed a degree in business administration at the Universidade de Caxias do Sul . As a priest he took on various functions in the provincial leadership of his order in addition to pastoral care. From 2011 to 2017 he was provincial and then again active in the pastoral care of the diocese of Caxias do Sul until his appointment as bishop .

On September 26, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Bagé. The Bishop of Erexim , José Gislon OFMCap, ordained him episcopal on December 1st of the same year in the church of Nossa Senhora Medianeira in his native Barros Cassal . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Porto Alegre , Jaime Spengler OFM , and the Bishop of Cruz Alta , Adelar Baruffi . The inauguration in the Diocese of Bagé took place on December 16, 2018.
