The diocese of Bagé ( Latin Dioecesis Bagensis , Portuguese Diocese de Bagé ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Bagé in the State of Rio Grande do Sul .
history
The Diocese of Bagé was on June 25, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. Erected from cessions of territory by the dioceses of Pelotas and Uruguaiana and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre as a suffragan .
