Vouvray-sur-Loir is a commune Déléguée in the French community Montval-sur-Loir with 783 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire .

The municipality of Vouvray-sur-Loir merged with Montabon and Château-du-Loir on October 1, 2016 to form the Commune nouvelle Montval-sur-Loir. It belonged to the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of Château-du-Loir .

A district of the municipality of Vouvray-sur-Loir was Coëmont (previously written Cohémon), where the bridge over the Loir is located.
