Coleraine ( Irish Cúil Raithin ) was one of the 26 Northern Irish districts that existed from 1973 to 2015. The district, whose area was in the traditional counties of Antrim and Londonderry , had the status of a borough . The administrative seat was the city of Coleraine . Other important places were Garvagh , Portrush , Portstewart and Kilrea . On April 1, 2015, he went on in the new District Causeway Coast and Glens .
