Omagh ( Irish An Ómaigh ) was one of the 26 Northern Irish districts that existed from 1973 to 2015. The district was in traditional County Tyrone . Important places were the administrative headquarters Omagh as well as Drumquin , Dromore , Trillick , Fintona , Beragh , Carrickmore and Sixmilecross . On April 1, 2015, he went on in the new District Fermanagh and Omagh .
