The Communauté de communes des Alpes Mancelles is a former French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the north-west of the Sarthe department in the Pays de la Loire region . It was founded on December 19, 1994 and comprised 13 parishes. The administrative seat was in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

  • Communauté de communes du Pays Belmontais and
  • Communauté de communes des Portes du Maine Normand

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes Haute Sarthe Alpes Mancelles .
