history

The community association has its origins in a SIVOM that was founded in 1979 and converted into a district in 1987 . Following a decree of December 14, 2000, the Communauté de communes des Deux Buëch, then consisting of ten member communities, was founded on the same day. On November 27, 2008, the Manteyer community was added. In 2014, the community association was expanded to include the Commune nouvelle Dévoluy and renamed the Communauté de communes Buëch-Dévoluy .
