Communauté de communes du Canton de Hirsingue
The Communauté de communes du Canton de Hirsingue was a community association among the French Communautés de communes . It was located in the Sundgau , a landscape in the south of Alsace near the Swiss border and comprised 11 of the 24 municipalities in the canton of Hirsingen . These were Bettendorf , Bisel , Feldbach , Friesen , Heimersdorf , Henflingen , Hirsingue , Oberdorf , Riespach , Seppois-le-Haut and Ueberstrass .
On January 1, 2014, the community association was dissolved. The municipalities were divided into the following municipal associations:
- Communauté de communes d'Altkirch ( Heimersdorf and Hirsingue )
- Communauté de communes Ill et Gersbach
- Communauté de communes du Jura Alsacien ( Bisel , Feldbach and Riespach )
- Community de communes de la Vallée de Hundsbach
- Community de communes de la Largue
