The Communauté de communes Ill et Gersbach was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on February 4, 2002 and comprised nine parishes. The administrative seat was in Waldighofen . The river Gersbach and Ill gave it its name .

Historical development

As of January 1, 2017, the community association was

initially merged to form the Communauté de communes d'Altkirch et Environs , which was renamed shortly afterwards to the current name Communauté de communes Sundgau .
