Former town hall of Oberdorf

Oberdorf is a former French commune with a last 596 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013) in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region . The community belonged to the arrondissement Altkirch and the canton Hirsingue .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former communities of Grentzingen , Henflingen and Oberdorf were merged to form Commune nouvelle Illtal .

The place is in the Sundgau , on the Ill , eleven kilometers southeast of Altkirch .

Neighboring towns of Oberdorf are Grentzingen in the northwest, Willer in the northeast, Steinsoultz in the east, Waldighoffen in the south and Riespach in the southwest.
