The Communauté de communes du Lembron Val d'Allier is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was founded on December 30, 1998 and comprised 16 parishes. The administrative seat was in Saint-Germain-Lembron .

Historical development

After the community association was founded on January 1, 1999 with 15 member communities, the Chalus community joined it on December 30, 1999 and the Bergonne community on December 26, 2001. With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Nonette and Orsonnette now form a Commune nouvelle called Nonette-Orsonnette . This reduces the number of member communities to currently 16.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and so formed the successor organization Agglo Pays d'Issoire .
