Beaulieu is a French commune in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ) with 461 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Issoire and the canton Brassac-les-Mines (until 2015 Saint-Germain-Lembron ). The inhabitants are called Béliquières .

Beaulieu is located about 55 kilometers south-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand on the Alagnon , which flows into the Allier here . Beaulieu is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Breuil-sur-Couze in the north and north-west, Nonette-Orsonnette in the north and north-east, Auzat-la-Combelle in the east and north-east, Brassac-les-Mines in the south-east, Charbonnier-les-Mines in the south and Saint-Germain-Lembron to the west and north-west.

The A75 autoroute runs along the western edge of the municipality .
