Saint-Germain-Lembron is nine kilometers south of Issoire on the Couze d'Ardes . Saint-Germain-Lembron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Broc in the north, Le Breuil-sur-Couze in the east, Beaulieu in the east and southeast, Charbonnier-les-Mines in the southeast, Vichel in the south, Collanges in the southwest, Chalus in the west as well Gignat in the northwest.
