Saint-Étienne-sur-Usson is a French municipality with 276 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It is located in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park .

The village became known through the film Being and Having (2002) by Nicholas Philibert , in which everyday life is documented in the village school attended by the children of the 200-strong village.
