Clémensat is located about 29 kilometers south of Clermont-Ferrand on the Couze Pavin in Limagne . Clémensat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montaigut-le-Blanc in the north and west, Champeix in the north and north-east, Saint-Vincent in the east and south-east and Saint-Floret in the south and south-west.
