Verrières is located about 25 kilometers south-southwest of Clermont-Ferrand on the Couze Chambon in Limagne . Verrières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Grandeyrolles in the north and northeast, Creste in the south and east, Saint-Diéry in the south and southwest and Saint-Nectaire in the west.
