Dauzat-sur-Vodable is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chassagne in the north and north-west, Vodable in the north-east, Ternant-les-Eaux in the east, Saint-Hérent in the east and south-east, La Chapelle-Marcousse in the south and Roche-Charles-la-Mayrand in the west and southwest.
