Saint-Pierre-Roche is about 25 kilometers west-southwest of Clermont-Ferrand . Saint-Pierre-Roche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gelles in the north and west, Olby in the east and north-east, Saint-Bonnet-près-Orcival in the east and south-east, Rochefort-Montagne in the south and Perpezat in the south-west.

The Miouze River runs along the western municipal boundary . The Sioulot also touches the municipality and flows into the Sioule at the border with the neighboring municipality of Olby .
