Le Breuil-sur-Couze is a French commune in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ) with 1,046 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Issoire and the canton Brassac-les-Mines (until 2015 Saint-Germain-Lembron ).
geography
Le Breuil-sur-Couze is located about 45 kilometers south-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand on the Allier , into which the Couze d'Ardes flows here. Le Breuil-sur-Couze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Broc in the north and north-west, Nonette-Orsonnette in the east, Beaulieu in the south and Saint-Germain-Lembron in the west.
The train station is on the Cevennenbahn .
