Creste is a village in the French commune of Saint-Diéry and a former municipality last 50 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2016) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ).
The municipality of Creste was incorporated into Saint-Diéry on January 1, 2019. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Issoire and the canton of Le Sancy (until 2015 Champeix ).

Creste is about 29 kilometers south-southwest of Clermont-Ferrand in Limagne . The municipality of Creste was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Verrières in the north and northwest, Grandeyrolles in the north, Montaigut-le-Blanc in the east and northeast, Saint-Floret in the east, Saurians in the south and Saint-Diéry in the west.
