The Communauté de communes du Pays de Sauxillanges is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was founded on December 16, 1999 and comprised 17 parishes. The administrative seat was in Sauxillanges .
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged
- Communauté de communes des Coteaux de l'Allier ,
- Communauté de communes Couze Val d'Allier ,
- Issoire Community ,
- Communauté de communes du Lembron Val d'Allier ,
- Communauté de communes du Bassin Minier Montagne ,
- Communauté de communes des Puys et Couzes and
- Ardes Community
and so formed the successor organization Agglo Pays d'Issoire .
Former member parishes
The CC du Pays de Sauxillanges comprises seventeen municipalities that until 2014 belonged to the former canton of Sauxillanges , with the exception of Lamontgie , which belonged to the canton of Jumeaux . Since 2014, all municipalities have belonged to the administrative district of Issoire .
