Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

• Communauté de communes Entre 2 Lacs ,
• Communauté de communes Cère et Rance en Châtaigneraie and
• Communauté de communes du Pays de Montsalvy

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes de la Châtaigneraie Cantalienne .
