The Communauté de communes du Sud Pays Basque ( Basque Euskal herriko hegoa) is a former French community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department and the Aquitaine region . It was founded on December 21, 2005 and was the most southwestern association of municipalities in France. On December 21, 2012, its member communities formed the Communauté d'agglomération Sud Pays Basque as the successor organization.
