Conrad Mannlich (born May 17, 1700 in Augsburg , † September 13, 1758 in Zweibrücken ) was a German painter .

The son of the famous Augsburg silversmith Johann Heinrich Mannlich received his first training from Johann Kupetzky in Vienna . He then traveled to Hungary. In the spring of 1725 the young painter was at the court of Duke Eberhart Ludwig von Württemberg in Ludwigsburg , for whom he made several portraits. He soon moved to Strasbourg , sponsored by Cardinal de Rohan . From 1726 to 1732 he stayed in Paris most of the time . 1732 appointed him Count Palatine Christian III. in his service. When the latter acquired the principality of Pfalz-Zweibrücken at the end of the following year and moved his residence to Zweibrücken, Mannlich followed him. The princely widow Karoline , who took over the reign after the death of her husband , and Christian IV of Pfalz-Zweibrücken also valued Mannlich as court painters. During a stay in Strasbourg in 1741 the son Johann Christian Mannlich was born, whom his father trained as a painter.

Conrad Mannlich's well-known oeuvre is narrow and includes a few portraits , still lifes and depictions of hunting, which are mainly in public ownership.
