Constancio Miranda Weckmann (born September 15, 1952 in Las Cruces ) is Archbishop of Chihuahua .

Life

The prelate of Madera , Justo Goizueta Gridilla OAR , ordained him a priest on September 30, 1977 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Atlacomulco on June 27, 1998 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , Justo Mullor García , donated him episcopal ordination on August 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Juan Guillermo López Soto , Bishop of Cuauhtémoc-Madera , and Ricardo Guízar Díaz , Archbishop of Tlalnepantla . He chose Cristo Vence as his motto .

On September 29, 2009 he was by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Archbishop of Chihuahua and introduced to office on November 19 of the same year. After the death of Bishop José Andrés Corral Arredondo , he was diocesan administrator of Parral from January 5, 2012 until a successor was appointed on June 27, 2012 .
