The Coppa Cittá di Enna 1967 , also Coppa Citta di Enna, Pergusa , took place on August 6th at the Autodromo di Pergusa in Enna , Sicily , and was the 11th round of the sports car world championship of that year.
The race
In 1967 the Coppa Cittá di Enna was part of the sports car world championship for the last time. The favorite for the overall victory was local motorist Nino Vaccarella , who started in a Ford GT40 and lived up to his role as a favorite. He won with a lead of one lap over the Swiss Dieter Spoerry and Carlo Facetti , who took part in the event with a Porsche 906 .
