The 500 km race in Zeltweg , also known as the Austrian Grand Prix (FIA World Championship run, 500 km race for sports cars), Zeltweg , took place at Zeltweg Airport on August 20, 1967 . It was the 12th round of the sports car world championship this year.

The race

As in 1966 , there was also a world championship run in 1967 at the airport in Zeltweg . The race was won by Paul Hawkins , divorced from Porsche after disagreements with the team leadership , who reported a Ford GT40 . At the finish he was two laps ahead of the duo William Bradley and Richard Attwood in the Porsche 906 .
