Cornelia Kuhnert (* 1956 in Hanover ) is a German teacher and crime writer , non-fiction author , editor and local politician . She lives with her family in Isernhagen .

Life

Born in the early years of the economic boom in the Hanover district of List , studied German and history at the university there and then worked for twelve years as a teacher at various schools in Hanover and Burgdorf . She was also honorary parliamentary group leader in the Burgdorf city ​​council for six years .

She has been working as a freelance writer since 2005 and has written crime novels and crime stories from the small town of Lower Saxony as well as anthologies .

In August 2011, Kuhnert published her political crime thriller Tödliche Revelation , edited by Susanne Mischke , in which she uses a fictitious murder case of a right-wing radical “upright German” and internet manipulators to make references to the Celle massacre that actually took place in the last days of National Socialism . For example, the journalist Heinrich Thies wrote about her work in the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung :
