Cornelia Niemann

Cornelia Niemann (* 1943 in Siegroth , Silesia ) is a theater actress and cabaret artist .

Life

Niemann completed her acting training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . She received her first engagement from 1966 to 1969 at the Munster Municipal Theaters . This was followed by positions in Tübingen , Heidelberg and from 1972 to 1976 at the Schauspiel Frankfurt am Main . From 1976 to 1979 she worked at the renowned Theater am Turm (TAT) in Frankfurt. Cornelia Niemann has been working as a freelancer since 1979. Guest tours have taken her to the major theaters in Darmstadt , Düsseldorf , Stuttgart and Bochum . In 1984 she brought out her first cabaret program “Fettige Gesänge über Liebe, Schlankheit und Beauty” together with Anne Bärenz and Annemarie Roelofs . In the meantime she has developed 15 other theater and cabaret programs with which she is on the road. In addition, she works for radio and television, e.g. B. in the ARD family series Ein Haus in der Toscana from 1990 to 1994. In 1999 she was awarded the Tony Sender Prize of the City of Frankfurt am Main. she was with Sabine Fischmann and Jo van Nelsen in “We direct sharply and warmly! - A revue of the century of German cabaret ”(direction and compilation: Jo van Nelsen).
