Cosmas Michael Angkur OFM (born January 4, 1937 in Lewur ) is an Indonesian clergyman and emeritus bishop of Bogor .

Life

Cosmas Michael Angkur joined the order of the Franciscans and the Bishop of Bogor , Paternus Nicholas Joannes Cornelius Geise OFM, ordained him on July 14, 1967 as a priest .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Bogor on June 10, 1994. He received his episcopal ordination from the Archbishop of Jakarta , Leo Soekoto S.J. , on October 23 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Pietro Sambi , Apostolic Nuncio in Indonesia , and Alexander Soetandio Djajasiswaja , Bishop of Bandung .

On November 21, 2013, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
