Cunnersdorf is a district of Pirna , the district town of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

The district is located in the east of the city on the plateau on the orographic left side of the Elbe . Neighboring districts are Sonnenstein in the west and south, the Schifftorvorstadt in the north-west and Posta on the opposite side of the Elbe in the north. The alley village was first mentioned in 1352 as "Cunrisdorf". It was an official village and was temporarily under the authorities of Pirna, Lohmen and Hohnstein. In 1856 the Pirna court office was responsible. On the basis of the rural community order of 1838 , Cunnersdorf gained independence as a rural community. In 1875 this was part of the Pirna Authority . On July 1, 1950, it was incorporated into Pirna .
