Dürnhart is a district of the municipality of Rain in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.

history

As early as 1363, the Mallersdorf monastery was named as a feudal lord over an estate at Durrenhart . The main team Dürnhart was in the court register of 1599 part of the Oberamt Alburg of the regional court Straubing . In the year of the conscription of 1752, in addition to the village of Dürnhart, the districts of Pönning, Landstorf, Wahlmühl and Niedermotzing also belonged to the Dürnhart board.
