D'or Fischer (born October 12, 1981 in Philadelphia ) is an American - Israeli basketball player . His preferred position is that of the center .

career

D'or Fischer played the 2001/2002 season for the Northwestern State Demons in the Southland Conference of the NCAA . After changing colleges, he played from 2003 to 2005 with the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Big East Conference .

In November 2005 he moved to the Polish club Anwil Włocławek , but went back to his home country during the season, to the D-League team Roanoke Dazzle . He played the 2006/07 season in the German basketball league for EWE Baskets Oldenburg and ended the year as the best shot blocker in the league, with an average of 2.6 blocks per game. After a year in Belgium, with Euphony Bree , Fischer moved to the Israeli top club Maccabi Tel Aviv , where he won both the Ligat ha'Al in the 2008/09 season and the 2010 Cup. In summer 2010 he went to the Spanish record champions Real Madrid . After a season in the Spanish capital, D'or Fischer moved to Bizkaia Bilbao . In the 2013/2014 season he played for the German champions Brose Baskets Bamberg . Fischer has been working for UNICS Kazan in Russia since 2014 .
