DECCO is the joint project of the songwriters and music producers Joacim Persson from Stockholm and Sebastian Arman from Vienna . After working for other artists (including John Legend , Kelly Clarkson , Selena Gomez , Marlon Roudette , Crystal Fighters , Ry X , Redman and Konshens ), the two began developing their own artist project in 2016 .

Career

Her debut single Shooting Stars featuring Mapei , released in December 2016, made it into the Spotify Viral Charts . The song was u. a. by Wankelmut , LOWSELF, On Planets and Oh Lou! remixed . Shortly afterwards, Decco released their version of the Alex Vargas song "Higher Love" , a modern, electronic ballad that they wrote with the Danish singer and songwriter. The song was used in the Diesel SS17 TV campaign Make love, not walls , directed by David LaChapelle .

The two started 2017 with an official remix of the Dua Lipa song Thinking 'Bout You . For their summer anthem Sun Comes Out they worked together with the British singer-songwriter Leo Stannard. The track has been streamed more than five million times to date and has been added to their playlists by radio stations in Europe .

As a follow-up , the duo released About You featuring Alex Vargas, a hybrid of songwriter pop and club music. The music video was directed by Austin Settle in collaboration and a. with the dancer and choreographer Gianna Gi. Remixes by u. a. You're Over Me by Years & Years and For Love by Filous feat. Klei.

Since their first release, Decco has recorded more than 20 million Spotify streams. At the moment (as of March 2019) they are commuting between Los Angeles , London , Stockholm and Vienna.

The song Crazy To Love You was created on the axis Austria / Sweden / Israel . The British soul and folk artist Alex Clare was hired as a singer . The recordings took place in Jerusalem . It was not the first work of its kind for Clare; Already with his album The Lateness of the Hour including the single Too Close , he worked in the field of electronic music in 2011 and combined his voice with dubstep sounds.

DECCO not only achieve several million streams and downloads with their remixes and songs, they also work regularly with renowned musician colleagues, including Dua Lipa, Alex Vargas and Alex Clare, as well as with world-famous companies and brands such as B. Diesel or Pepe Jeans together.
