DJ Shog (* 8. November 1976 in Hamburg ; real name S ven Ho Lger G pure ) is a German Trance - DJ and - producer .

biography

Since the early 1990s, DJ Shog developed a great interest in electronic music. He started out as a DJ at school and private parties and after taking part in some DJ contests, he became a resident DJ in several North German clubs. He finally achieved his breakthrough with his compilation series Technics DJ Set . The first CD was mixed by him and the second CD by guest DJs such as Cosmic Gate , DuMonde , Talla 2XLC , Green Court or Nic Chagall .

In 2001 DJ Shog released his first single This Is My Sound , which reached number 54 in the German charts and number 40 in the UK singles chart . The follow-up single The 2nd Dimension reached number 62. Five more singles reached chart positions in Germany. The most successful was the single Another World , which was in the German charts for 14 weeks and reached number 35.

In 2005 DJ Shog founded the music label 7th Sense Records together with his friend Torsten Stenzel . Together they produced under the pseudonym Mandala Bros .

In early 2006, DJ Shog released his first solo album called My Sound . This was able to stay in the German album charts for four weeks. His second album 2Faces followed in the summer of 2007. Together with the E-Cutz production team, he produced the three hymns Summer Sound System (2002), Alive & Kickin (2003) and The Golden 10 (2004) for under the pseudonym Nature One Inc. the Nature One . In addition, since 2005 he has been producing one title for each newly published compilation for the compilation series Dream Dance under the pseudonym Dream Dance Alliance .

In 2013 DJ Shog released the album 10 Years , which mainly contains remixes of old songs. Another World (10 Years) was released as the first single .
