The DLG field days are crop cultivation trade fairs of the German Agricultural Society , which take place every two years.

organizer

The organizer DLG eV is supported by changing partners. For the next event from June 16 to 18, 2020, these are the Ministry for the Environment, Agriculture, Nature and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and, as a specialist partner, the specialist agency for renewable raw materials .

subjects

In addition to the presentation of seeds and varieties, other specialist topics include the automation of agricultural engineering , variety tests, soil health, pesticides and the use of drones for remote sensing in agriculture . Smaller test areas are shown as well as various machine solutions in practical use. The information stands are supplemented by specialist lectures in two conference tents. The field robot event of the University of Hohenheim also takes place on the premises of the DLG field days. Here, technologies in the field of robotics and precision farming are tested under real conditions in the field.
