production
The limousine is manufactured exclusively in Shenzhen , China . From there the vehicle is exported to Europe.
Design and equipment
The DS 9 is based on the design line of the DS7 Crossback sport utility vehicle presented in 2017 . As a reminder of the Citroën DS , two position lights are attached to the rear window frame. With a length of 4.93 meters, the sedan could become the presidential vehicle for the French president .
Nappa leather , Alcantara and crystal glass are used for the interior . The music system with 14 speakers comes from the French manufacturer Focal .
technology
Technically, the DS 9 is based on the PSA Group's EMP2 platform .
An adaptive chassis that detects unevenness with a camera behind the windshield in advance in order to react to them should be available. Furthermore, air-conditioned massage seats.
The drive at the market launch is taken over by the 1.6-liter plug-in hybrid with 165 kW (225 hp) familiar from the Peugeot 508 II . A lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 11.9 kWh enables an electric range according to WLTP of up to 50 km. Two more plug-in hybrids with 184 kW (250 PS) and 264 kW (360 PS) and a gasoline engine with 165 kW (225 PS) will follow later . All versions are linked to an 8- speed automatic transmission .
