Dagmar König (born November 3, 1955 in Berlin ) is a German trade unionist and politician (CDU). She has been on the federal executive committee of the United Services Union (ver.di) since 2017 . and alternating chairwoman of the board of the German Pension Insurance Association .

Life

She grew up in Berlin-Wilmersdorf , where she attended the Ernst-Habermann-Elementary School and then the Marie-Curie-Gymnasium. She then studied history and geography at the Technical University of Berlin .

Professional activities

From 1987 onwards she worked for the district office of Wilmersdorf , later Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf , for almost 30 years , starting as a women's representative (1987–1998), lastly from 2013 to 2016 as a district councilor for citizen services, further education, culture, building construction and real estate. She has volunteered in the staff council and in the women's representation in the district office of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and has been a member of the board of trustees of the Louise Schroeder Medal of the Berlin House of Representatives and the foundation board of the Youth and Family Foundation of the State of Berlin for many years .
