The Dair al-Balah Governorate ( Arabic محافظة دير البلح, DMG Muḥāfaẓat Dayr al-Balaḥ ) is an administrative district of the Palestinian Authority or the State of Palestine in the middle of the Gaza Strip . The district city is the city of Dair al-Balah . According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the government had 208,716 inhabitants in mid-2006 and 264,455 in mid-2015.
