Dan Seymour

Dan Seymour (born February 22, 1915 in Chicago as Daniel Seymour Katz, † May 25, 1993 in Santa Monica ) was an American film actor.

Life

Seymour starred in over 100 films; he was, among other things, supporting actor for Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca , to have and not to have and gangster in Key Largo . In the Road-to series with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope , he played in the third film of the series with, in Road to Morocco ( Road to Morocco ). He also played in several films directed by Fritz Lang , a. a. with Gary Cooper . Due to his physique - Seymour weighed over 120 kilograms - and his ability to look sombre and sly, his domain were above all dubious characters or villains such as gangsters and corrupt police officers.
