Dangerous Woman is the third studio album by the American singer Ariana Grande . It was released on May 20, 2016 on the Republic label and contains the singles Dangerous Woman , Into You , Side to Side and Everyday.
background
Grande began recording the 2014 album shortly after her previous album, My Everything , was released. The original plan was for Dangerous Woman to have a different title , Moonlight . However, in January 2016, Grande confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that the title of the album had been changed to Dangerous Woman . Furthermore, the song Focus , which was released as a single in October 2015, was planned as the first single on the album. However, this is only included on the Japanese deluxe edition of the album and the song Dangerous Woman was selected as the first single.

- Awards & Promotion: The album was promoted through a number of appearances including Dangerous Woman at the MTV Movie Awards & Side To Side at both the American Music Awards and the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards .
- Single releases: On October 30, 2015, Grande released the song Focus as a single, which is only included on the Japanese deluxe edition.
- Dangerous Woman: The album's first single, which bears the same title as the album, was released on March 11, 2016. The song was number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 30 on the charts in Germany . The music video for the song was released on Vevo on March 31, 2016 .
- Into You: The album's second single, Into You, was released on May 6, 2016. On May 15, 2016, Grande confirmed that the song would be the second single.
- Side to Side : Dangerous Woman's third single, Side to Side , was released on August 30, 2016. The video about the collaboration with Nicki Minaj was published two days in advance on the website of the fashion brand Guess for promotional purposes.
- Everyday: The fourth single from the album Everyday starring rapper Future was released on January 10, 2017.
- The lyric video and music video were released in February 2017.
