Daniel Cordes
Daniel "Danda" Cordes (* 1964 ) is a German jazz bassist.
Cordes studied jazz bass at the Berlin University of the Arts and also attended workshops by Anthony Cox and David Friesen, among others . He is a member of various ensembles, such as the vocal group Mosaïq and the bands Welcome to the Maze and Moanin 'in Mojo . He worked with the group Jazz Indeed and Sönke Düwer's Ensemble du Verre , the quartet of Tobias Rüger and as accompanist for the singers Maren Kroymann and Hilde Kappes . Since the beginning of 2009 he has been the successor of Carsten Wegener as bass player in the group 17 Hippies .
