Daniel Emilfork

Daniel Emilfork , actually Daniel Zapognikof (born April 7, 1924 in San Felipe , Chile , † October 17, 2006 in Paris ) was a Chilean-French actor .

Life

Daniel Emilfork was born in Chile, where his parents, Russian Jews, fled pogroms from Odessa. After initial success as an actor, he went to Europe at the age of 25 and settled in France, as he was prosecuted in Chile for his homosexuality .

1955 Emilfork made his debut in front of the camera alongside Jean Marais and Brigitte Bardot in the film Futures Vedettes (German title: Ripe on young flowers ) by Marc Allégret . Countless other works in various film genres followed until the 2000s. He was mainly used in comedic roles or he embodied negative characters, not least because of his extraordinary physiognomy. In Germany Emilfork became known through the joke series Klimbim by Michael Pflegehar , in which he participated in several episodes. Before that, he had appeared as a guest in two episodes of the Graf Yoster gives himself series .

Daniel Emilfork was repeatedly dubbed by Jürgen Thormann , for example as Krank in The City of Lost Children and the Klimbim guest appearances as well as an episode of Two Heavenly Daughters . Other voice actors Emilforks were among others Harry Wüstenhagen , Klaus Miedel and Balduin Baas .
