Daniel Fredheim Holm (born July 30, 1985 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian football player who has been under contract with the Norwegian top club Rosenborg Trondheim since 2011 . He is the half-brother of the soccer player Thomas Holm and the son of the former soccer player Paal Fredheim .
Career
Until 2001 Fredheim Holm played for the Oslo club Skeid . The left-footed offensive player, who can be used both in attacking midfield and as a striker, soon established himself with good performances in the first team and made the jump to Vålerenga Oslo in January 2004 . Here Fredheim Holm established himself alongside players such as regular goalkeeper Árni Gautur Arason and top scorer Steffen Iversen and was able to celebrate the championship title in the 2005 season. At the side of u. A. Ronny Johnsen , Allan Kierstein Jepsen and Kjetil Wæhler , he joined his club in qualifying for the 2006/07 UEFA Champions League , but failed to Mladá Boleslav . In addition, at the end of the 2008 season, they won the Norwegian Football Cup against the Norwegian champions Stabæk Fotball . In the local Ullevaal Stadium , after two goals from Fredheim Holm and Mohammed Abdellaoue , they prevailed 4-1.
After five years with Vålerenga, Fredheim Holm moved abroad in August 2009 and signed a contract in Denmark with Aalborg BK . In one and a half years in Aalborg, however, the absolute breakthrough was denied, so that in January 2011 he moved back to Norway to Rosenborg Trondheim . For his new employer, Fredheim Holm made his debut on April 3, 2011 (2nd matchday) in the game against Stabæk Fotball as a substitute in the 56th minute for Gjermund Åsen . As a result, he established himself alongside offensive forces such as Rade Prica or Mushaga Bakenga . Fredheim Holm scored his first goal for Rosenborg on June 19, 2011 in the 5th minute to make it 1-0 against Tromsø IL .
