Daniel Mesenhöler (born July 24, 1995 in Engelskirchen ) is a German football goalkeeper .
Career
After his youth at Neuenother TuS Othetal and with the offspring of 1. FC Köln, Daniel Mesenhöler began his career with the second team of 1. FC Köln , for which he played in 53 regional league games from 2013 to 2016 . For the 2016/17 season he moved to the second division Union Berlin . After regular goalkeeper Jakob Busk was out due to injury, Mesenhöler made his first appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga in March 2017 .
For the 2018/2019 season he switched to league rivals MSV Duisburg and made 16 appearances in the league and in the cup.
After relegating to the third division with the club, he did not extend his contract, which expired in June 2019, and joined the third division promoted FC Viktoria Köln . After the end of the 2019/2020 season, Mesenhöler's contract was not extended. He has been without a club since then.
