Danilo Carvalho Barcelos , called Danilo , (born August 17, 1991 in Coronel Fabriciano , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian football player . The left-footed player is used on the left defensive side or in the left midfield .

Career

Danilo began his career in the junior division of Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and the EC Bahia . In both clubs, he did not make the leap into the professional squad. He began his professional career in 2010 at the AA Francana from Franca . In the league, he only arrived in 2013 after moving to América Mineiro . With this, the player played his first game in Série B on May 26, 2013. In the game against Guaratinguetá FL , he played from the start until the 66th minute, in which he was sent off after his second warning. Danilo scored his first goal in the league on October 6, 2013. In the 81st minute he scored the only goal of the game against CA Bragantino .

With America , Danilo started the year 2014 in the national championship of Minas Gerais . In February of that year he was loaned to Sport Recife . With this he won the Campeonato Pernambucano and the Copa do Nordeste that year . The move was also associated with a personal advancement for the player, as he played in the Série A that season . Danilo played his first game in the top Brazilian league on April 27, 2014 against AC Chapecoense . In the game he was substituted on in the 64th minute. In the game against Criciúma EC on August 31, 2014 Danilo scored his first goal in the league in the 53rd minute, with the goal to make it 2-0. Danilo was able to continue playing in Série A by moving to Atlético Mineiro , where he received a three-year contract. But he received only one use on the sixth day of play and was then loaned to the league competitor AA Ponte Preta . In the 2018 season, Danilo initially started again at Atlético in the Campeonato Mineiro, but was loaned to Ponte Preta again for the 2018 championship round .

After Danilo did not play a role in Atlético's squad planning for the 2019 season, he was loaned out again. He came to Rio de Janeiro for the CR Vasco da Gama . Here he competed in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro (15 games, two goals), the Série A (21 games, two goals) and the Copa do Brasil 2019 (six games, no goal).
