Dannette Young-Stone
Dannette Young-Stone ( Dannette Louise Young-Stone, née Young; born October 6, 1964 in Jacksonville , Florida ) is a former American sprinter .
In 1987 she won bronze over 200 m at the Universiade .
At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, she was used in the run-up to the 4-by-100-meter relay and so contributed to the US team winning the gold medal.
Each over 200 m she was fourth at the Athletics World Cup in 1989 in Barcelona and sixth at the World Athletics Championships in 1991 in Tokyo.
At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, she ran in the preliminary round of the 4-by-400-meter relay and thus contributed to the US team winning the silver medal.
In 1993 she was eighth over 200 m at the World Championships in Stuttgart , and at the 1996 Olympic Games in Barcelona she reached the semifinals over the same distance.
In 1989 she was US champion over 200 m.
