The Dar Młodzieży is a full-rigged ship rigged Polish sail training vessel for prospective officers of the merchant navy . It was built in 1981/82 according to plans by the Polish naval architect Zygmunt Choreń at the Lenin shipyard in Danzig as a full steel ship, as the successor to the Dar Pomorza . The Dar Młodzieży can reach a cruising speed of 16.5 knots and stay at sea for 60 days without having to go to a port . She is the lead ship of the class of six ships.

The Dar Młodzieży is the first large sailing ship of Polish origin that successfully circumnavigated the world from 1987-88 (on the voyage for the anniversary of Australia). It has also participated in the Cutty Sark Tall Ships 'Races (now Tall Ships' Races ) several times (1982, 1986, 1995–1996, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2007). In 2011 she visited Travemünde on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Passat .

The name means "gift of youth".
